Transferring Text Messages From Tablet Phones to the Computer

Transferring Text Messages From tablet phones to the computer
Text messages are the snail mail of our time. Many deep conversations are had via text with insights to life, the universe, and everything. There are also dates to remember, phone numbers, pictures and so much more. Unfortunately, even our very smart phones can keep an endless supply of text messages. This problem can be solved with both intelligence and apps from the Google play store.
Text Message Overflow
There are a couple of issues when it comes to saving text messages on a cell phone. Many phones have a small amount of onboard memory. When that memory is full text no longer can come through. Other phones let you save every text that comes in. This leads to disorganization and chaos. Texts need to be deleted to both save space and save your mind. Yet, there are texts we want to spare from deleting.
Most people own a cell phone
Over 90 percent of adults between the ages of eighteen and twenty-nine have a cell phone. As the age bracket goes higher, the amount of cell phone use goes down. Still, the majority of adults in the USA own a cell phone, with fifty-seven percent of adults over sixty-five owning a device. Over fifty percent of adults in the USA send more than ten texts a day. With the amount of cell phones and texts that are floating around, no wonder there was to archive them. It is not just for your own use, but also to keep a record of our society.
Two great Google Apps
The many app makers of the world have seen the need to archive texts. There are two programs that are worth downloading and trying out.
SMS Backup and restore - Created by Ritesh Sahu, this app has one of the best reputations on the Google Play marketplace. This is a simple app that saves your texts in an XML file, a format that can be read by a variety of popular browsers. The file format also allows you to take your text archive from one phone to another, providing a way to save and organize texts on the computer and new phones. The program also allows you to schedule a time for automatic back up, so you dont have to worry about manually securing your texts. The app allows you to select which texts to save and which texts to delete. Another function lets you delete all text messages on your phone at once. This powerful program is easy to use and simple. It is free with ads or you can buy an ad free version for $2.49
Super Backup: SMS and Contacts is another popular Google Play app with a high review score. Created by Mobile Idea Studio, this is simple program for backing up data. The focus of the app allows you to back up text messages and contact information with ease. Super Backup up has several options to choose from, including text messages, contacts, call logs, and applications. The app allows you to schedule the backups and saves everything to the Micro SD card to transfer to a PC or new phone. This allows the backups to be transferred from phone to phone. This app also allows you to delete all the content from your phone related to texts, contacts, and apps. Super Backup can restore old save files as well, just in case you delete a few things on accident.

Continuing on
Although many think that texting is unimportant, we know that these short messages hold value. Our children will be reading through old texts and wondering at our lives. These programs allow you to keep the history of your contact with others alive. Both these programs can be downloaded from the Google Play store for free. Try the apps out yourself! Backing up the texts will allow you to keep memories alive when a phone dies, texts need to be removed, or you get a new phone.
