Remote Access Tools - Sharing Information Anytime, Anywhere

There are a variety of software’s available in the market today which can be used for an infinite number of purposes. One of the most well-known and easy to use propriety protocols is the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). It allows access to information on one system from any other system using a network connection. It requires the knowledge of the secondary systems IP Address, Username and Password as the required data. It is a very essential tool and comes in handy for many professionals, corporations, offices and also or personal use when required.
The RDP servers are built-in servers for Windows Operating systems and are pre-existing in most other Operating systems such as Linux, UNIX, Mac, OSX, iOS and Android. ‘Windows Remote Desktop Connection’ is the default application that comes in-built with Windows.
Remote Desktop protocol refers to an OS feature allowing applications to be run remotely on a server while being graphically displayed locally.
The methodology by which one can get access to any remote computer from any remote location is called Remote Access. There are various tools which help bring about this task. The mode of transfer can be with the help of Dial-up connections, Internet Service Protocol or even by using a more expensive but more efficient ‘dedicated line system’. Dial-up connection can be made through desktop, notebook, or handheld computer modems over regular telephone lines.
There are over 40 ways to access a computer remotely. Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) is a common method of accessing data remotely from branch offices since it combines dial-up with faster data rates.Wireless, cable modem and Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) technologies offer other possibilities for using this tool.
This access server is the computer and associated software that is set up to handle users seeking access to networks. It is sometimes also called a communication server. It usually includes or is associated with a firewall server to ensure security and a router that can forward the request to another part of the corporate network. Crossloop is one of the simplest tools that can be used to access a system remotely.
Remote Access may also use standard tools like Telnet, a software used to remotely control a computer system or ssh, a secure shell often used with remote applications.
Online meeting, also termed as web conferencing, allow one to not only speak to multiple participants but also share important visuals without being physically present with them. Online meeting solutions allow you to share everything on your computer screen, including your web browser and presentations made on Microsoft PowerPoint. Many also enable you to use a virtual whiteboard, share files, collaborate on documents and even watch videos.
